In the artist's words:

The ensemble "Entrance" was founded in 2019 by Ranvita Hahn & Christoph Barth and comes from two different backgrounds: Christoph Barth as a trumpeter and conductor from classical music and Ranvita Hahn as a percussionist and founder of the Rhythm Worlds School, who has been involved with different ethnic drumming styles and rhythm cultures for decades. Their story began back in 2007 with the joint leadership of TaKeTiNa® rhythm seminars.

The music improvised there out of the moment always seeks to enter into the timeless presence of the moment.

Archaic instruments such as frame drums, Indian flutes, clay pots, gong sounds, tampura sounds and voice meet jazz-like scales on the flugelhorn and trumpet as well as groovy handpan rhythms. This evening's concert invites you to let living silence resonate within you.
