Falschgeld are young, from Munich and make dirty indie pop rock with German lyrics, stylistically somewhere between TonSteineScherben, Wanda and AnnenMayKantereit.

The most solid half-strength riot! high fun factor! no consideration for losses!

The punky attitude of the four pop louts, who have been making music together since they were children and deliver a correspondingly powerful performance, meets profound and thoughtful lyrics in a rich contrast.

But it doesn't always have to be straight to the point: With Franz Ferdinand guitarist Nick McCarthy in the producer's chair, they deliver a poignant coming of age balladwith "Menschen Wie Wir" for the release of their album of the same name, which will be releasedon 02.08.2024. The title track deals with self-doubt, the search for recognition and love and the fact that a soft core is usually hidden under a hard shell.
