Flama

In the artist's words:

Flama is a Spanish trio based in Leipzig that combines free improvisation with elements of flamenco, Spanish folklore and avant-garde. The sound spectrum includes prepared guitar, electro-acoustic sound experiments, trumpet, drums and traditional instruments from Spain. A special role is played by the vocals in Spanish, which are not fixed but are born in the moment - sometimes eruptive and powerful, sometimes quiet and fragile.

The result is an unmistakable sound that opens up new spaces between avant-garde and world music. Flama is aimed at an audience that is curious about crossing boundaries and unexpected listening experiences.
