Look, listen, marvel & immerse yourself in another world.

The photography exhibition "in between" by Frieda Maelle and Sebastian Schubbe tells stories of cultures between Europe and Asia and attempts to soften the borders that have arisen in our minds. In over 3 years, the two have driven 50,000km from Hamburg to the Himalayas in their vintage car and captured the journey with their camera.

The smooth transition in each country from religion to culture, from mountains to deserts and the everyday life of travel around them inspired the two 25-year-old photographers to live a life far away from society in their van in order to immerse themselves deeply in other cultures and document them.
