In the artist's words:

Metropolitan life is both Garibaldi's adversary and soulmate. It inspires the band with all its longing, frustration, devotion, loneliness and security. Influenced by their youth in Cologne, Garibaldi paint musically and lyrically with the colors of adolescent impressions and feelings that have collected in a pond in the course of their lives and have not become stagnant water. The band's founder and source of ideas is Yves Wery. His previous musical work as co-composer and producer of the band Mobius Caravan, as well as his work on numerous other projects, had a formative influence on the formation of the still very young band. Garibaldi brings the resulting sound to the stage in a sophisticated manner: torn by a love of the Wall of Sound and an ever-growing penchant for sonic modesty, the band succeeds in musically dressing the chansonesque character with a danceable garment. The lyrics bear both close and concrete as well as abstract traits and occasionally cut a few holes in the garment.
