Nostalgia and new beginnings: Georges JR sets the highs and lows of city and country to music in a refreshing way with an authenticity between indie and pop that can only be sung by a Berliner-by-choice from the Klixdorf province. His EP "MINT" (2022) shows a mature artist who has experienced too much from the two worlds of country and big city to blindly celebrate or reject either one. George JR reflects, looks back and forwards in a garment of organic, often indie-esque arrangements, rock/pop influences and vibrant summer romance. Unimpressed by current trends, his latest project "Sommerregen" makes it clear in which direction he is heading. Deep lyrics meet "mood boosting" arrangements - rain on summer.
