Grandmas House – Queer Post-Punk from Bristol

Grandmas House is a queer punk rock trio from Bristol that has been shaking up the British DIY scene since 2018 with loud, high-energy post-punk and noise rock. The band—featuring Yasmin Berndt (vocals, guitar), Poppy Dodgson (vocals, drums), and Zoë Zinsmeister (bass)—has expanded to a quartet and, with their latest EP , “Anything For You”(April 2025), brings a new artistic maturity and emotional depth.

Grandmas House formed in 2018 in Bristol, a city that—following IDLES’ international breakthrough—has become a hotbed for loud, high-energy post-punk and noise bands.
