The Dark Side of Country(-billyswamprock)

With their latest vinyl release in 10" format _: Low Budget- High Convenience, the Düsseldorf Western aficionados have actually heralded their 25th anniversary. Should we have taken bets on that?)

Away from the trashy Lo Fi budget rock of the earlier years, things are now a little more civilized. You could almost think that's what the health insurance company wants. But they only pay attention during the day.

Because as soon as the sun has set, the band's own all-time classics such as "Pressure Island", "Beefjerky" or "Last night millionaire" are of course saddled up on stage and shamelessly robbed from the county cemeteries, from the little ones (Leon Payne, Buck Owens) and the greats of outlaw country, e.g. Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash or Hank 3.

With washboard, banjo and slide guitar and at least one foot on the pedal, they head out of the stable with their saddlebags full of booze and into the desert of life, always in search of the three chords and the truth.
