In the artist's words:

Hannes Rall, born in 1965, graduated in design from the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design (1991), is Professor of Animation Studies and Associate Chair Research at the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. He is also a successful director of animated short films. They have been screened at over 900 film festivals worldwide and have received 95 international awards, including seven FBW "particularly valuable" awards.
