In the artist's words:

In 2023, Bruno Zühlke brought together twelve accomplished clown artists from different backgrounds and, together with Maria Dunst, took over the artistic direction of the absurd clown theater piece "Ein Zebra am Abgrund". With a focus on improvisation techniques, the piece was developed step by step and refined into a lively, finely nuanced evening program. The play premiered in Freiburg in June 2023 and has since toured throughout Germany. Every performance reflects the ensemble's enthusiasm, sensitivity and creative energy.
