In the artist's words:

Henning Kallweit was born in Haldensleben in 1991 and grew up in Görlitz. After completing his civilian service in Berlin, he studied acting at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. During his studies, he was already convincing in formative theater roles, including William Carlisle in Punk Rock (Schauspiel Frankfurt) and in the solo Sex/Drugs/Rock'n'Roll (Kreativfabrik Wiesbaden).

His first permanent engagement took him to the Stadttheater Pforzheim from 2015 to 2017. Since then, Henning Kallweit has worked freelance with a focus on theater and film productions. He has performed at the Theater Krefeld-Mönchengladbach, the Burgfestspiele Bad Vilbel and in off-theatre productions.

His most important theater roles include Ernst Ludwig in Cabaret, Le Beau in Wie es euch gefällt and currently the title role of Nikolas in the solo play DER SUPERMAN MONOLOG - EIN MANN STEIGT AUS. ODER EIN. at the TiG Theater im Gründungshaus Mönchengladbach.

Kallweit is also present in front of the camera, including in several short films(Papilio, Sandkastenliebe, Moloch) and in Tatort - Es lebe der Tod. He has also been a narrator in radio play productions and has won several audience awards.

Henning Kallweit lives in Mönchengladbach and is a member of the Bundesverband Schauspiel (BFFS). He works regularly throughout Germany, particularly in NRW, Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna.
