In the artist's words:

After years of high headlines, over six million streams and awards such as the title of "Best Newcomer Act in Germany", Mr. Ulrich retired in 2023 without prior notice in order to regroup. His first LP, "Gut Genug", was released on 24.04.2026. Mr. Ulrich's gift remains to describe precisely what is happening around him. But it's no longer about the routine drink at your local Späti. Instead, the result is an indie pop album about growing up, the search for one's own place in the world and the attempt to be enough for oneself.

The record is aimed at young adults who are searching for orientation between self-presentation, pressure to perform and fear of the future. To people who reflect on themselves and their environment and value authenticity over perfection. "Gut Genug" does not attempt to provide answers, but sees itself as an honest companion for all those who find themselves in precisely this phase.
