FRANCESCO BECCARO - Quartet

"Hard grooves, wild improvisations and soulful compositions: a night you won't forget!" UPWARD is highly energetic, intense and improvisational and relies on layered structures. The kind of fusion that has a raw yet impressive sound reminiscent of Metheny, Zawinul, Mehldau, Scofield, but also pop-rock, Bowie, Prince, Radiohead and D'Angelo. The compositions relate strongly to daily life, including all political and social issues. Each piece conveys a clear message and aims to take the listener with it. One experiences rebellion, melancholy, positivity or simply relaxed grooves while listening. Francesco is joined by some of the best musicians on the European scene - each of them is also a bandleader in their own right, bringing their unique personality to the music.
