The magazine has been in publication since 1976. It conducts research, publishes reports, and thereby draws attention to social conflicts in Latin America. The editorial office is based in Bonn; it interviews cultural figures, publishes articles on the women’s movement, and thus serves as a network for the Latin American diaspora in Germany.
