Ilgen-Nur Boralı brings music that feels like a hungover Sunday morning concert to your living room. She grew up in the Ländle with Turkish sounds, spent her childhood in front of MTV and VIVA and started playing the piano at the age of 11; later came the guitar and a YouTube channel with charming covers.

In 2017, her DIY EP No Emotions was released on cassette - five honest songs written in her bedroom, raw, relaxed and yet somehow poetically cool. Max Rieger from Die Nerven was behind the production, and suddenly the "Kaff bei Stuttgart" became a hype title in the Hamburg scene.

Their debut album Power Nap (2019) is like a musical nap: relaxed indie rock with a beguiling voice that oscillates between gentle reverie and laconic wit. Guitars are reminiscent of The Smiths, lyrics mix anger, nostalgia and a pinch of self-awareness - undisguised and yet full of style.

Lyrically, she sings in English - a conscious escape, a chosen home for words in which she can express herself better. It's no longer just about failure or anger, but also about hope and the sober joy of life.
