Irene Klein

In the artist's words:

Irene Klein received her first viola da gamba lessons at the age of nine and gained experience in solo and consort playing at an early age. She studied at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Paolo Pandolfo and in Milan at the Civica Scuola di Musica with Roberto Gini.

Since the fall of 2004, she has taught viola da gamba at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music and Theatre in Leipzig.
