Jacob Johanssen, Dr., born 1986 in Hamburg, is Associate Professor in Communications at St. Mary's University in London. He studied Communications and Sociology in Salzburg, Erfurt and London and holds a PhD from the University of East London. His book Fantasy, Online Misogyny and the Manosphere. Male Bodies of Dis/Inhibition (Routledge 2021), which he translated into German for Herbert von Halem Verlag. It has recently been published as Die Mannosphäre. Misogynist Communities on the Internet .
