Jakob Lindhagen is an award-winning composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist from Stockholm, Sweden. He feels most at home in neoclassical, ambient and experimental music, but is not afraid to push the boundaries. His music has been streamed millions of times and has been heard on radio stations such as BBC and KEXP as well as on television across Europe. He composes film music, works solo and collaborates with various artists. His film works include the Norwegian drama "My Wonderful Stranger" (2024), whose music was nominated at the prestigious "Music & Cinema Marseille", the Palme d'Or nominated short films "Who Talks" and "Push It" as well as the Swedish Film Award-winning documentary "Skörheten".

In 2017, his solo debut "Paces" was released by 1631 Recordings/Decca Publishing, followed in 2022 by "Memory Constructions", a concept album dealing with fragmented memories, released by Piano&Coffee. Both albums were listed in various "best of the year" lists by magazines such as Headphone Commute and Stationary Travels.

Together with his longtime artistic partner Vargkvint, he has toured internationally several times and co-wrote, instrumentalized and co-produced Antonio Pulli's 2023 album "Månens Hav", which was recorded at Nils Frahm's Saal 3 Studio and released on his label LEITER. Other notable collaborations include the concept album "Stadsbilder" with sound artist Dag Rosenqvist, the producer of Sergio Díaz De Rojas' "Suite Botanique" (released on Nettwerk) and contributions to compilations with Balmorhea, Eluvium, The Album Leaf and others.

In 2024 he made his debut on the Icelandic-American label I N N I with the ambitious audiovisual work "Stages Of Change".

Seamlessly moving between flm scoring, solo work and various collaborations, his flm works include Norwegian drama "My Wonderful Stranger" (2024), with the music nominated at the prestigious "Music & Cinema Marseille", the Palme d'Or-nominated shorts "Who Talks" and "Push It", as well as Swedish Academy-awarded feature doc "Skörheten".

2017 saw the release of his solo debut "Paces "with 1631 Recordings/ Decca Publishing, which he followed with 2022's "Memory Constructions", a concept album exploring unreliable memories, via piano and coffee records. Both appeared on several "Best Albums Of The Year"-lists on places like Headphone Commute and Stationary Travels.
