James Rizzi was already one of the most popular artists of all time during his lifetime, a true "pop artist". He became famous for the invention of 3D paper sculpture and 3D magnetic images, which have been inextricably linked with his name since the 1970s. However, he has also made a name for himself as a draughtsman and painter of unique acrylic pieces and has left his mark on a wide variety of everyday objects - from stamps to cars, from shoes to jets.

Rizzi's inimitable personal style - characterized by clear shapes delineated by a black line and bright colors - his humour and optimism, which are inherent in all his works, are loved by millions of fans worldwide. His favorite subject is the vibrant life in the city, in his city - New York. The artist's works are immediately accessible to the viewer, and yet new details can be discovered with every glance.

After James Rizzi's unexpected death in December 2011, demand for the New York artist's works exploded and remains high to this day.
