Jan Zöbisch (born 1991) lives in Trier and Düsseldorf. At the age of 28, he discovered his passion for photography through a birthday present. A year later, he decided to leave his job as a sales manager in an international confectionery company to pursue his new vocation.
Jan specializes in street photography and is fascinated by the small, often overlooked moments of everyday life. His works are characterized
aesthetics, tranquillity and (analog) black and white images that emphasize atmosphere, emotion and composition. He is interested in the
in-between spaces - small moments that carry depth or beauty. For him, street photography is more than just a picture; it is a reflection of the transience of life and the capture of a random moment that will not return.
As he no longer wanted to leave his work exclusively to chance, he expanded his portfolio to include fashion photography and works for
various brands and fashion shows, such as London Fashion Week.
As co-founder of projects such as "Sektor9000" - an artists' collective with a studio in Trier - he is committed to art, community and creative participation.
