Janette Wölwer is a painter and works in the field of abstract mixed-media painting. In her works, she deals with inner processes and translates biochemical and psychological dynamics into multi-layered pictorial spaces.

By layering color, pigments and materials, she creates works whose effect changes depending on the light and viewing angle. Her painting combines materiality with scientific inspiration and creates works that can be experienced as resonating spaces.
