In the artist's words:

JARNOTH(born 1989 in the Ruhr area) is a German puppeteer, performer and DJ.
He studied puppetry at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and graduated in 2014. From a young age, he was part of the Young Ensemble at the Folkwang University of the Arts andwas active at the Aalto Theater Essen.

His diploma play "The Soldier's Tale" was performed at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Saarländisches Staatstheater in 2014. In the same year, he presented his first solo work "MEIN EGO ZWINGT MICH DAZU", which combined puppetry, performance and music.

JARNOTH has worked with Hans Neuenfels, Barry Kosky, Tilman Knabe, Alexander Riemenschneider and Christian Weise, among others. Engagements have taken him to renowned theaters such as the Staatsoper Berlin, the Semperoper Dresden, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Theater Basel.

In addition to his theater work, JARNOTH is active in the Berlin club scene as DJ "Miss Braucht" and was part of the art action "1000 Gestalten" at the G20 summit in Hamburg. His work moves between puppetry, performance art and music - poetic, physical and always a little anarchic.
