In his songs, jaschu combines singer-songwriter melodies with electronic elements and German lyrics. He creates his tracks himself in the best DIY style - from songwriting to production and mastering. His bedroom serves as his recording studio. In his sensitive songs, he explores the facets of his own emotional world: loneliness and great love, paralysis and inspiration, forlornness and healing. These are very private topics that listeners can identify with on many levels at the same time. His debut ep "vielleicht" was released in April, including the singles "Schnee von morgen" (#5 in the viral charts de, Aldi Süd Sync campaign, 5.9 million streams) and "4 Uhr" (newcomer tip on Pro7, 2.8 million streams). "für immer kind bleiben" is the first release of his upcoming EP.

The debut EP "vielleicht", which has generated 10 million streams to date, underlines the fact that he is a master at transforming supposedly small everyday situations and personal feelings into songs that are full of truthfulness; that don't take themselves too seriously in a great way and at the same time deal with topics that concern us all from time to time with the necessary seriousness. "forever a child" is Jaschu's rebellion against adulthood: Discipline is not for him, first pleasure, then work, and what he can do today... he does tomorrow!
