JASSA Oberstimmenensemble

In the artist's words:

JASSA brings together young Berlin FLINTA* people, feminism and sophisticated choral music.

As a self-organized upper voice ensemble, we develop contrasting programs in project phases that follow a dynamic line between jazz/pop and classical choral music.

In line with our feminist vision, we want to create a safer space for non-binary and queer people and make female and queer composers more visible through a targeted selection of pieces.

Since its foundation in 2021, the choir has been directed by Johanna Brüll.
