Jassin is one of those artists who can open up whole worlds with a single sentence. "All I know is: I have something to prove to myself." He opens his debut album "Arsenalplatz" with this line - and relentlessly reveals what his art is made of: doubt and courage, origin and departure, pain and the deep desire to be understood. His music is the gaze of a young man from a small East German town who observes, reflects, shouts and whispers. A dialog with everything that hurts - and everything that heals.

"Arsenalplatz" is an album about roots, alienation, anger, shame and pride. About people who stay and people who leave. About places that constrict and places that you love anyway. The stories are precise, vulnerable and direct; Jassin formulates images that hit, but at the same time provide support. It is the logical continuation of his "Kinder können fies sein" EP, songs like "Bitte sei vorsichtig" or his celebrated features with Trettmann ("Nach Hause komm'") and Disarstar ("Tochter").

The fact that Jassin is a live artist who transforms stages into something bigger in just a few minutes is demonstrated by his rapid development in recent years. After shows for RIN & Schmyt, Paula Hartmann, Trettmann, Apsilon, Berq, ENNIO and $OHO BANI, he played his first own, completely sold-out "KKFS Tour" in April 2025.
