For 16 years now, freelance artist Jens Kotalla has been living and breathing the stage. Starting out as the singer of a metalcore band, and since 2012 as a poetry slammer, host, and emcee for these and other events, he has performed well over 1,000 times throughout the German-speaking world during this time. Among his personal highlights are his annual hosting stints at the Waldbühne stage of the Stemweder Open Air in front of 3,500 people and his performance at the Wacken Open Air in front of 5,000 people.
Since April 2025, he has also been performing as a comedian on stages across the country.
