In the artist's words:

The JugendKammerOrchester Berlin is Berlin's up-and-coming youth orchestra.

The orchestra, which was founded in 2006, was formed by musicians from the Berlin State Youth Orchestra. Since then, the orchestra has continued to develop and impress with its diverse, mostly chamber music program. Since 2025, the board has changed and with it the vision for the orchestra, which now also focuses on works outside of chamber music, namely the Romantic period.
