Julia Danz - Sopran

Julia Danz studied singing in Saarbrücken and Leipzig and graduated with distinction. She is a multiple prizewinner and finalist in international singing competitions. After completing her studies, she was initially a member of the Niederrhein Opera Studio, followed by a permanent engagement at the Staatsoperette Dresden. Since then, Julia Danz has worked as a freelancer and regularly performs at renowned theaters, including the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, the Chemnitz and Regensburg State Theaters and the Heidenheim Opera Festival. Her repertoire includes a large number of important roles, including Pamina ("Die Zauberflöte"), Gretel ("Hänsel und Gretel"), Lauretta ("Gianni Schicchi") and Mimi ("La Bohème"). In addition to her opera engagements, Julia Danz is also a much sought-after concert soloist. She has been invited to Japan to perform Beethoven's 9th Symphony and has worked with renowned orchestras such as the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra, the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra and the South Westphalia Philharmonic Orchestra.
