Juliane Streich

In the artist's words:

Juliane Streich was born in Berlin in 1983, followed by a big city childhood with an allotment and an adolescence between punk and pop. She then studied twice: cultural studies in Frankfurt/Oder and journalism in Leipzig. For ten years, she was head of the music desk at the Leipzig city magazine "kreuzer" (supposedly the best in Germany), works in the online editorial department at MDR Kultur and writes about music, culture and society as a freelance author. She leads a life as a lo-fi bohemian and has been planning to form a punk band for twenty years (which doesn't work because you don't plan punk band formations).
