Over the past few years, Julie Pavon has managed to develop her very own, highly infectious interpretation of pop, combining sophisticated house beats with deep, sultry vocals. The Danish-Honduran singer and electronic artist has already been compared to the likes of Charlotte Adigéry and Kelly Lee Owens (DJ Mag), while the Danish press has called her the country's wildest live performer (Soundvenue).

With a series of single releases flanked by bold, expressive visuals, Pavon caught the attention of critics and audiences alike between 2020 and 2022. The debut single "Herd Animals" premiered on BBC Radio 6, "Jealous" soundtracked the Hermès runway show at Paris Fashion Week, and the brutally funky "Don't Call Me Out" earned Julie Pavon the title of "Track of the Week" on Danish radio station P3 in 2022. In 2024, she repeated this success with the Euro Pop-inspired "Lost Child".

and caused a storm of enthusiasm among the Copenhagen audience. Her first headline shows in the Danish capital were already sold out in 2022, and she performed at the Roskilde Festival in the same year. Further festivals throughout Europe, such as Eurosonic and Best Kept Secret, followed, with Pavon setting highlights in Germany in particular with shows at Fusion Festival, Loolapalooza, Skandaløs, Breminale, Sound oft he Forest and many other open air events. In Denmark, she also celebrated her return to the Apollo Stage at Roskilde Festival in 2024, which was sold out with 6000 spectators.

In 2023, Julie Pavon released the EP "Watch Her Dance" with six tracks on Music For Dreams, which was highly praised by DJ Mag, Disco Pogo and BBC Radio, among others, and has received ongoing support from world class DJs such as AME and Dixon, including several acclaimed remixes.

Julie Pavon's songwriting is dedicated to the emotional and existential turmoil of youth with recurring motifs of conflict and paradox: "A central theme that attracts me is duality. Both in myself and in the world around me, in the thinking of my generation. Wherever there are contrasts, there is friction, energy, and that's what interests me."
