Katharina Engel (Nuremberg):
Katharina Engel is a German song poet and pop singer. Her music moves somewhere between melancholy and rebellion, intimacy and awakening, tenderness and energy. With a clear voice, spherical synth sounds and an unaffected authenticity, she creates songs that are beautiful in a different way. Katharina began to express her feelings on the piano at the age of five. After studying music, she finally developed her very own sound. Her songs are a journey through the emotional spectrum of life. She writes about love, loss, longing - and then again about the things that everyone thinks but no one says.
