In the artist's words:

Hi, I'm Katharina - an artist from Hamburg.

I like things that are not perfect. Detours, overpainted areas, ideas that look chaotic at first and suddenly make sense later. My own pictures are often created in exactly the same way - by repainting, discarding and rediscovering. Not always straightforward.

And for me, creativity often starts right there. The moment you stop trying to get everything right. Today, I also share this experience in studio formats such as Paint & Relax. My aim is to open up spaces in which nothing has to be proven. The aim is not to create something impressive, but to arrive, try things out and get a little closer to yourself. Here you can start before you feel ready.

Often the most beautiful thing is not the picture at the end - but what happens along the way.
