Kathrin Sachse

In the artist's words:

Kathrin Sachse has developed a new style for photography by incorporating hand-worked steel, copper and brass into her abstract works. The novelty of her art was recognized at the international art fair EuropArtFair 2023 in Amsterdam with the EuropArtAward 2023.
Form and color are at the heart of her photographic compositions, which move on the border between painting and printmaking under the guiding principle "The photographer as graphic artist".
With more than 50 solo and group exhibitions in Germany and abroad to date, as well as international art fairs, the artist, who was born in Leipzig in 1972, is a permanent fixture on the art scene.
