In the artist's words:

The KEIMZEIT band history began in 1982 in Lütte, a small town near Potsdam. The siblings Norbert, Hartmut, Marion and Roland Leisegang initially founded the band under the name "Jogger". The birth of "KEIMZEIT" took place in 1982. Singer Norbert Leisegang began writing German lyrics and processing experiences from everyday life in his songs. KEIMZEIT's style: typical blues rock with a special touch and often enriched with poetic lyrics.
