Kevin Riemer-Schadendorf

In the artist's words:

Kevin Riemer-Schadendorf 's first travel stories were published in 2017, followed by his autobiographical anthology Weltwärts, um die Enge der Heimat zu begreifen, which was published by Leipzig-based I.C.H. Verlag in 2020. In 2021, Berlin-based Treibgut-Verlag published his novella Leiden für ein Feuerwerk: Die Flucht der S. Rebesky. It is also based on true events and describes his grandmother's escape during the Second World War.

Further short stories followed, which are primarily based on the experiences of his individual travels on six continents. In a story published at the beginning of 2023, the author describes the events of the Hamburg storm surge in 1962 from the perspective of his mother, whose four grandparents drowned in the catastrophic flood. The author's latest story, Gemischte Gefühle, was published in 2024 in a literary-philosophical compendium. In August 2025, his debut novel Im Bann des Vaterlandes: The Algorithm of Resistance published by pinguletta Verlag.
