Kikki Géron

Kikki Géron (*1993) is a versatile singer and actress who performs folk in the broadest sense of the word. In the fall of 2025, she will play the role of the Moritatensängerin in Brecht/Weill's Threepenny Opera in a production by Opera Zuid. In 2025 she produced 'Die Rundköpfe und die Sitzköpfe' with her Brecht Trio and performed it at the Kurt Weill Fest and the Muziekgebouw aan 't Ij. In 2022 she took part in an Opera Zuid production of 'Eternal Road': a song recital about the life of Kurt Weill, with his music, directed and scripted by Annemiek van Elst. In 2021 she played in a production of Music Stages Anna 1 in 'The Seven Deadly Sins', among others in the Muziekgebouw aan 't Ij, together with musicians from the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest.

In 2021, she was part of the Katharsis collective with whom she staged the play 'Gastfrau - Zwischen Heim und Weh', a play about female guest workers in Germany. She is part of the Cologne bluegrass scene, which organizes workshops for bluegrass lovers from all over the country. She performs with the band Bluegrass Cash on stages all over Germany and sings the repertoire of June Carter and Johnny Cash. She works as a singing teacher, leads the 'Cologne Cowboy Choir' and conducts group workshops for choirs & singers for singing and interpretation. - https://www.kikkigeron.nl/
