Kinder- und Jugendchor Voices of Munich

In the artist's words:

The "Voices of Munich", the concert choir of the Schule für Chorkunst München, offers a comprehensive musical education that includes vocal training, choir rehearsals, ear training and music theory. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of musical memory, a varied repertoire and vocal flexibility.

The choir regularly performs at concerts, festivals, projects and opera productions, including collaborations with the Bavarian State Opera and the Tyrolean Festival. In 2023, the "Voices of Munich" achieved 3rd place in the category "Children's choirs up to 16 years" at the 11th German Choir Competition. In 2024, the choir took part in the International Choir Competition Vox Lucensis in Lucca and won two gold diplomas in the categories "Children's Choirs" and "Sacred Music a cappella".

In 2025, the choir took part in the European Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations in Aarhus, Denmark, and won two gold medals in the categories "Children's Choirs" and "Sacred Music a cappella".

The choir also promotes international exchange, for example on a concert tour to Greece in June 2024.

In addition to musical excellence, the choir attaches great importance to community and the personal development of its members.
