Katla, which sounds so beautifully clanking and catapulting, is both a cat and a volcano. The Katla 2025 theater collective was founded by Flurina Carla Schlegel and Paul Schröder with the desire to create a theater collective that would put on theater evenings together with allies - without elaborate technology, without large sets, without hierarchies. The focus is on the play - it is created collectively, without power imbalances. Every evening is a new experiment. Existing spaces are used. The projects should be accessible to everyone.
