With stand-up drums, double bass, the typical guitar sound of great role models such as Elvis Presley or the Stray Cats and, of course, their authentic styling including elaborate cat masks, the Kool Katz make their performances a real experience for their young audience - and their parents too. The quality of the songs leans heavily on the originals of the 50s and consciously picks up on references in order to offer young fans access to this uniquely organic rock music. As an alternative to hip-hop and dance, the Kool Katz bring real live musicians back to the stage and show kids aged 5 to 10 a cool world of music that is often still completely new to them.
