Künstlerinitiative DAFNE

In the artist's words:

The artists' initiative DAFNE sees its projects as interventions. It takes up themes of denied memory and repressed history.

DAFNE works on strategies against forgetting, pursues the return of the repressed by seeking allies across the entire spectrum of the arts.

There is nothing that can be dispensed with that might still elicit a gesture, a silent hint, a sign from the unspeakable. Theater may be post-dramatic; it cannot be without poetry, without painting, without music.
