Hamburg-based artist KUOKO moves confidently between electronic pop, DIY aesthetics and an activist attitude. She not only writes, produces and sings her own songs, but also designs her own merchandise - creating her very own creative microcosm.

KUOKO's debut EP "Lost Woods" was released in 2018, followed by the EP "Reality Check" in 2020 and her self-titled debut album in October 2021. Her second album "Troubleshooter" (Dec 2023, Kabul Fire Records) was also created entirely by herself. Thematically, it deals with self-empowerment, identity as a FLINTA* and BIPOC artist as well as dealing productively with failure. KUOKO's characteristic sound - minimalist, playful, synth-heavy - is always open to new genre influences and yet remains unmistakable.

Stylistically, she cannot be pigeonholed and proves one thing above all with "Troubleshooter": musical and artistic versatility.
