Kupfergold are the hot shit on the German folk scene right now. The modest Rhinelanders around frontwoman Bonnie Banks don't know exactly how it came about, but are increasingly coming to terms with being described as a "newcomer sensation" and "high-flyer".

The band is also coming to terms with bigger and bigger stages, such as the Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, Rock Harz and many other festivals. Kupfergold has become an integral part of the MPS family and has also made a name for itself at Cologne Carnival, selling out 10 of its first 13 shows.
