Leni Zippe

In the artist's words:

Leni Zippe - born and raised in Munich - is a multimedia artist with a focus on painting, video art and installation.

Trained as a silversmith, she increasingly shifted her artistic focus to visual and performative forms of expression. Her works are characterized by a strong dynamic and physical presence - the human body is a central motif. At the heart of her work is the necessity of expression: an inner urge that can be understood as an ongoing process of recognizing, processing and shaping.

In RESTART, she focuses on the transformative moments of new beginnings. She examines how change not only passively influences life, but can also be actively shaped - as a conscious act of self-empowerment and renewal.
