Lily Costa creates the big moments in her songs to carry the equally big emotions out of her 160cm tall body. At the same time, she needs the small and intimate moments in them to find herself. The Swiss-Portuguese pop singer/songwriter makes music that makes some people want to jog and others want to cry. Loud and sad, playful and at the same time intimate storytelling on the infinite playground of indie pop. And perhaps it is precisely this simultaneity of states in their music that is their great magic trick.

"I've been waiting for the right moment to put my own songs at the center of my life," says Lily, and that moment is now. Her debut EP "Not Like You" was released on January 16, 2026.

With "Not Like You", Lily creates a sparkling cosmos for herself. A canvas on which opposites merge, on which pain and beauty intertwine. Growing up on the outskirts of Zurich as the daughter of a working-class family who immigrated from Portugal, she talks about belonging, emotional chaos and mental health, always with touching honesty and a fine sense of self-irony.
