Lina Thiede

Lina Thiede (b. 1996) writes in both the science fiction/fantasy genre and the autofiction genre, and in both areas she focuses primarily on social class consciousness and the role of women. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the hr2 Literature Prize, the Berlin Prize for Science Fiction, and, most recently, the Robert Gernhardt Prize from the State of Hesse. Her debut novel, *Homo Femininus*, was published in 2020, followed in the spring of 2025 by her second novel, *Sometimes You Know What Will Happen*.
