The singer/songwriter sound of South African musician Lloyiso gets under your skin. In 2015, the singer reached fifth place in the 11th season of the casting show "Idols South Africa" and thus received international attention for the first time at a young age - which has not stopped with the subsequent single releases. On the contrary: with his genre cocktail of R'n'B, Afro-pop and soul, as well as hip-hop, gospel and jazz, Lloyiso delighted listeners far beyond the borders of South Africa with heartbreakingly emotional tracks that earned him a contract with Republic Records in the USA in 2021, the first South African artist to do so. This was followed in 2023 not only by the acclaimed debut EP "Seasons", which was praised for its openness and lyrical intimacy and won the Best Pop Album category at the South African Music Awards, but also the feature song "Real Love" with DJ and producer Martin Garrix. In May 2024, Lloyiso then went on tour through South Africa - the indoor concerts were quickly sold out and demonstrated the singer/songwriter's growing fame. In the spring of this year, Lloyiso ushered in a new era with the double single "High/Higher", which is characterized by shining pop anthems as well as thoughtful ballads. A sound that is made for the live stage. Lloyiso proves this on his upcoming "Never Thought I Could" tour, which also includes a stop in Berlin in October.
