Long Tall Jefferson is an attentive observer, a storyteller with his finger on the pulse of the times. His songs are full of images in bright colors and lines with razor-sharp edges.

On his fourth studio album "old sun, new horizon", Long Tall Jefferson combines the best elements from his previous work and takes them to a new level. The naked honesty and keen observations of the folk songs from his earlier albums "I Want My Honey Back" and "Lucky Guy" combine with the sonic expansion of his "Could Folk" years to make this new collection of songs deeply personal and rich. The focus of the new album's production was on not rushing the process, giving the music time to breathe and staying true to the dynamics of the creative moment. All these factors have contributed to "old sun, new horizon" becoming his most profound work to date.
