LOSING GRAVITY - AMERICAN ROCK 'N ROLL MEETS FRANKFURT ROCK CITY

What happens when Texas' vast steppes meet the skyline of Mainhattan? New musical roots emerge that stick in the ear canal. Fat. Melodious. And loud. Really loud!

As in the case of LOSING GRAVITY - who take rock fans into the wonderful world of gravity with their songs. Because with LOSING GRAVITY, everything stands out: the music, the power and the performance. Founded in May 2017 by Texan Chase Wilborn and Julian Lapp from Frankfurt, the band has been on the rock stage since May 2017 and is gaining a steadily growing fan base with its perfect blend of melodic stadium rock and a good dose of alternative. And not without reason. While Max Friedrich (drums), Lucas Urner (keys), Lars Palenzatis (bass) Julian Lapp (guit) provide a top-class sound, the likeable frontman Chase Wilborn always succeeds in captivating the audience with his unique grating voice and honest lyrics.

Reason enough for the five creative minds to finally capture the powerful live performance of LOSING GRAVITY unfiltered on a recording and thus take the next step on the way to the Rock Olympus. In spring 2022, the first ear-catching single release "LIVING IN RIDDLES" was released, which can confidently be described as an absolute high-flyer. Because here, band founder Chase Wilborn rocks out with none other than "The New Roses" shouter Timmy Rough in a duet, which caused quite a stir in the scene. With the release of their debut album "Headed South" at the end of April 2022, LOSING GRAVITY were invited as special guests for THE NEW ROSES' German tour, and THE NEW ROSES re-signed the band for their fall 2022 tour due to their excellent collaboration. Festival organizers also became aware of LOSING GRAVITY, and their festival slots include renowned events such as BOBs Rockcamp, Kieler Woche, Harley Days Hamburg, TUNIX Festival, Magic Bike Rüdesheim, Orscheler Sommer, Summer in the City Bendorf, Seepark Bike Days, Rheinhessen Rumble. In 2023, LOSING GRAVITY also covered a lot of highway kilometers, toured Germany with Molly Hatched, supported well-known acts such as Kissin Dynamite, Thundermother, The Sweet and Bonfire and played a full package of headlining shows. The band is currently busy recording their new album, which is due to be released internationally in late summer 2024. You can be curious!
