LTB has an independent, unmistakable style between folk, world music, jazz and rock that often crosses genre boundaries: based on Celtic and Anglo-Saxon folk rock, played like progressive rock with multi-part song structures that groove spontaneously and occasionally spill over into psychedelic-jazzy improvisations.

Instrumental diversity is provided by the addition of acoustic guitar, violin, flute and saxophone to the usual band line-up.

What certainly stands out is the preference for multi-part pieces, which are very accessible due to their melodic character and reveal their diversity and musical depth. The sometimes gentle, sometimes dramatic pieces and ballads with epic flute, violin, guitar and keyboard magic are lyrically based on the folk and poetry treasures of the British Isles and deal with gallows birds, highwaymen, murder, blood feuds, unhappy love, Dionysian battles and supernatural phenomena in fairytale-like lyrics.
