Maeckes is one of the most influential rappers, songwriters and music innovators of our time, has cyphered in the Juze, has a band (the Orsons) and a band (the Katastrophen) with whom he has torn down festivals, clubs and halls and staged his own operas. He is constantly reinventing himself at his almost legendary guitar concerts and can now play the guitar quite well. He has been writing songs like nobody else in this country for more than ten years. Maecke's music is sometimes abysmal and sometimes silly, sometimes mega-meta and sometimes of utterly disarming vulnerability. Most of the time it is all of these things at the same time.

In March 2024, the essence of over a decade of Maeckes will be released with the "gitarren album". Songs like little plays and plays like big songs. An album full of surprises, twists and goosebump moments.
